Actually in the delivery time large complaints facing like Incomplete address, wrong pin codes and residence remained locked for long days is the main reason and trouble facing by postal department in delivering Aadhaar cards quickly to the applicants, “K Sandhya Rani, Postmaster General (Business Development and Marketing & Technology) said.

The bulk of Aadhaar cards letters received for the delivery is on high node, which itself is a challenge, besides wrong pin codes. We found that 25% of Aadhaar cards found with wrong address or pin code and especially in rural areas it becomes very difficult to distribute Aadhar cards as those people doesn’t possess proper house numbers, stated by Rani. Till now 4.69 crore Aadhaar cards have already been delivered in the state. Though Chief Post Master General and Regional Post Master Generals are monitoring the process of speedy delivery of Aadhaar cards nearly 2, 78,829 lack cards had returned by postal department to the office of Central Identities Data Repository (CIDR)/Unique Identification Authority Of India (UIDAI) at Bangalore, she said.

Totally 4,74,39,801 letters booked by UIDAI under speed post, out of these 2.15 lack Aadhaar letters under delivery process across the state, adding to that 1, 42, 521 are to be delivered in five Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Ananthapur, Chitoor and East Godavari.
